Scott & Barb Ready
Scott and Barb Ready share a lifelong passion for helping others grow in their faith and experience authentic community. Barb has dedicated over 30 years to guiding others in their spiritual journeys, drawing from her background in education and biblical studies through Columbia International University. She has served on staff at two churches as a Discipleship Director, developing small group ministries and helping individuals grow in their daily walk with Jesus. Known for her heart for people, Barb creates spaces where individuals can grow closer to Christ through daily spiritual practices and meaningful community.
Scott began his faith journey as a teenager, and in his early twenties his walk deepened when a neighbor invited him and Barb to study the Bible together. That experience ignited a desire to be immersed in God's Word, ultimately leading their family to sell everything, leave Scott's corporate career, and move to South Carolina so he could attend seminary at Columbia International University. After three years of theological study, serving in a church plant, and becoming ordained, Scott spent the next 30 years serving in churches and ministry settings, using his gifts of leadership and administration to help others grow. Since that first experience of authentic community, his passion has been to see others encounter that same depth of connection and faith.
Together, Scott and Barb have walked with the Lord for over four decades. They are devoted to nurturing environments where faith can take root and community can flourish. Married for 41 years, they are proud parents of two and delighted grandparents—"Gigi" and "Papa"—to three energetic grandsons. They also love traveling the world together, experiencing new cultures and the beauty of God's creation.
