Independent Volunteer Hosts

Gathering hosts are independent volunteers. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of The Gathering Place Collective, and they act on their own behalf when they open their homes or other spaces. We provide training and resources, but we do not supervise every gathering or control what happens at it. We cannot guarantee the conduct of any host or participant, or the safety of any location. Participation in a gathering is at your own risk.

Children and Youth

Children and teens may attend a gathering only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who remains responsible for them. Hosts must report any concern about a child's safety to our team right away, and to the proper authorities as required by law.

Donations

All donations to The Gathering Place Collective are voluntary and non-refundable. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. By making a donation, you:

• Confirm that the donation is made voluntarily
• Understand that donations are used to support our mission and operations
• Agree to provide accurate payment information

Donations are processed by Givebutter, a third-party donation platform. Your use of Givebutter is also subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
